A Note From the Writer

“I have worked in finance for over two decades and have been writing screenplays off and on for even longer. In 2020 and forward, I see a real opportunity to create very commercial, modestly-budgeted films in the suspense, horror and supernatural thriller genres. I want to blend my business and creative skills and build a local team to make a series of films right here in Chicago. I’ve chosen “Bless Me Father, for I Have Sinned” as my initial project because we as a people emerge from this pandemic different than we were went it started. This film largely features characters separated by physical distance yet bound together from an emotional perspective. We believe that we can deliver a picture brimming with tension and provide an experience that reflects the isolation that has changed us all and the way we view films. Claustrophobia, watching video on screens and fear of what can’t be seen are evoked throughout the film. In the end, what really matters is whether the story and characters are compelling and whether the surprise at the end delivers. I hope I can prove that the answer to both is an enthusiastic yes.”
